Our Vita A Refining Oil is a results-driven facial treatment designed to support visible skin renewal and correction, whilst deeply nourishing and protecting the barrier.
Formulated with 0.2% Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A) to encourage healthy cell turnover, this lightweight yet potent oil helps refine texture, soften fine lines and promote a smoother, more youthful looking complexion — without the harshness often associated with traditional retinoids.
The result: smoother texture, improved luminosity, strengthened skin resilience and long-term age management support.
Designed for Every Stage:
Teens/Early 20s: Primarily used to treat acne and congested skin rather than for anti-aging.
Mid-20s to 30s: Recommended to start using it for preventative anti-aging, as collagen production begins to decline.
40s and Above: Used to treat existing signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, and sun-damaged skin.
Key Considerations for All Ages
Start Slow & Low: Regardless of age, beginners should start with low-strength products (e.g., 0.01% - 0.1% retinol or gentle retinal) to avoid irritation, such as "the retinol uglies" (peeling, redness).
Evening Use Only: Vitamin A makes skin more sensitive to UV light, so it should only be applied at night.
Daily SPF is Mandatory: You must use sunscreen every day when using Vitamin A to protect the skin.
Pregnancy: It is generally recommended to avoid Vitamin A (both oral and topical) while pregnant or breastfeeding

Vitamin A Concentration: This serum contains 0.2% Vitamin A Palmitate which should be a safe amount to use in a day-wear product as long as no additional retinol products are being used. When vitamin A is present in excess on the skin it can react with sunlight and become photosensitising. At low levels vitamin A helps maintain a healthy looking complexion.
